Interior living spaces were designed with a twist on Southern tradition. It was imperative that the living spaces be easy to navigate since the husband is blind.
This busy family enjoys spending time gathering in the kitchen, so lots of seating was integral to the design. The Lee Industries benches are slipcovered for easy cleaning.
In the dining room, the first item the designers selected for this formal space was the Arteriors Royalton Modern Amber Glass Rod Oval Brass Chandelier.
The owners wanted their bedroom to feel like a retreat, opting for textured pieces such as the tufted-linen headboard from Vanguard Furniture and the Calla Lily Table Lamps from Currey & Company.
The owner’s bedroom includes a sitting room, featuring a pair of bamboo-frame armchairs and mesmerizing views of the lake. The table lamps were sourced from Visual Comfort & Co.
