This historic farmhouse renovation in Atlanta reveals charming details

On a leafy street in Atlanta, Georgia, the principal designer of The Brooks & Studio and her family purchased this farmhouse home that was built in 1910, giving it a complete renovation and restoration.

Encompassing 2,797 square feet of living space, there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms in this dwelling.

Design was kept neutral to maximize the light, but the overall aesthetic leaned into traditional at the front of the house, and modern at the back, with simple and minimal furnishings.

The exterior siding of this Atlanta farmhouse is Stone Harbor and the trim is Simply White, both by Benjamin Moore.

The front door was ordered through Doors4Home, unfinished wood that was then stained with Provincial stain to match the refinished wood floors.

The wood floor is stained in Minwax Provincial with a matte poly finish.

The living room sofa is the Restoration Hardware “Cloud” sectional 40” depth sofa in linen fabric and linen color.

Outside, the patio measures 18 by 18 feet. During the summer months, the sliding glass doors can open a full six feet wide to create a seamless indoor-outdoor transition.
