Zubillaga Design, in partnership with Maite Granda Interior Design, has created this tropical modern beach house in Key Biscayne, a Florida town on a barrier island across the Rickenbacker Causeway from Miami.

An exterior facade of white stucco with horizontal planks of red cedar drew the owners to purchase the residence. Inside, bright and airy living spaces are courtesy of limestone and marble along with extensive glazing.

This tropical modern beach house offers light-flooding living spaces and unique design details throughout.

Grounding this living room is a sisal area rug from Restoration Hardware. On the wall, the artwork is from Ignacio Gana, a well known Chilean Artist.

The dining room chandelier was purchased at Lunatika in Miami, designed by ET2 Larmes. The white dining chairs can be purchased at MH2GO.

In the bedroom, the pullout sofa bed is from Anima Domus Miami. Grounding this space, the area rug came from Wayfair.
