A Modern Refuge With Heavenly Views Of The Washington Coast

Baylis Architects together with Amy Baker Interior Design has created this modern refuge situated in the beach town of Seabrook, on the Washington Coast.

Perched on a ridge above Pacific Beach, this newly built dwelling was designed in keeping with the strict code guidelines mandated by the town. The homeowners requested a design solution that brought modernity to classic architecture.

This goal was accomplished by employing thoughtful, unique details that set this home apart from others in the community. The crisp white walls and light oak floors are beautifully contrasted with black olive doors and window sashes.

Oyster shell-toned Venetian Plaster creates a striking focal point for the living room fireplace.

There was a high value placed on the impact well-crafted decorative lighting can have on an interior so bespoke fixtures are featured throughout the main floor.

The designer selected eclectic furnishings that are upholstered in outdoor fabrics for their durability and simple maintenance.

The artwork throughout this dwelling features northwest and primarily female artists, a collection curated by the interior designer of this project, Amy Baker Interior Design.

This Washington Coast home boasts light and airy living spaces that have been thoughtfully designed throughout.
