This modern coastal-style house was beautifully designed by Kevin Browne Architecture, located in the seacoast town of Harpswell, Maine.
The entry into the home exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a deep covered porch and gently sloping rooflines that envelope the whole main level to help nestle the abode into its natural setting.
A departure from the architectural motif seen in neighboring constructions, this dwelling embraced a slightly more modern window design, characterized by generously proportioned windows.
The main level is composed of an open kitchen, living, and dining with a focus on the views. There are also two guest suites, a butler’s pantry, and a family room.
The second level is predominantly the owner’s bedroom suite which includes a comfortable bedroom, bath, and sitting area.
All of these areas connect to an outdoor stone patio with an outdoor fireplace.
The architects created a large stone fireplace as an anchor to one corner of the home, where the windows abut the stone of the fireplace on each side.
