This historic timber frame house was beautifully reimagined by Rosenberg Kolb Architects, nestled on Nantucket, a small island just off Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

This 1,747-square-foot dwelling is the first historic renovation project in Nantucket to achieve LEED Gold status. The project was given a Grand Award by Eco Home Magazine.

Highlights of this project include: Restructuring the foundations to align and stabilize the structure while providing for a new insulated crawl space.

A brand-new 260-square-foot addition that features an entry, kitchen, and bath. New cedar shingles, roof shingles, and restored historic windows.

On the interior, LEED Gold certification was achieved through High R-value insulation and reduced air leakage.
