The owners recently became empty nesters and decided a lifestyle change was in order. They wished to downsize and simplify their lives while building their dream house surrounded by a woodland garden.

This home is nestled on a heavily forested site, boasting wondrous views of the water’s edge along with the Seattle skyline.

In the kitchen, the custom cabinets were designed by Creekside Cabinet & Design, finished with Berenson hardware and topped by quartzite countertops sourced from Architectural Surfaces.

The great room’s cedar-clad ceiling brings warmth. The branching chandelier in the dining room is from Lindsey Adelman Studio.
