A Denver family commissioned interior designer Breeze Giannasio to oversee the renovation and decoration of their vacation home, a Bohemian-style bungalow in Maui, Hawaii.

The family was on spring break when they fell in love with the island and desired to have their own piece of paradise, one with majestic views of both the mountains and the ocean.

The house was stripped down to the studs, making way for a lush indoor-outdoor oasis.

The kitchen features walnut open shelving, wicker pendant lights from Palecek, a backsplash tile sourced from Cle Tile, custom cabinets topped with Silestone countertops, a GE Monogram fridge, freezer, and hood, and flooring from Stone Source.

In this casual living space, the chairs are from Vanguard Furniture, while the coffee table and floor pillows were sourced from CB2. The side table is from Palecek.

The staircase was repositioned away from the door to remedy bad feng shui.

This bathroom opens to the pool with a connected outdoor shower. The wall and flooring are teak, while the tile is from Cle Tile. The floor tile is from Mutina.

The bamboo on the property inspired the wallpaper from Cole & Son in the daughter’s bedroom. The bedding was sourced locally. Grounding this space is a rug from Anthropologie.
