A 1920s bungalow gets a beautiful modern farmhouse makeover in Texas

This modern farmhouse began as a 1920s 600-square-foot bungalow and has been reimagined by Element 5 Architecture in Austin, Texas.

The original house is still visible and incorporated into the addition. The front entry room is part of the renovated original house, and an additional 1,600 square feet was added, bringing the total to 2,100 square feet.

The house features an open floor plan, large windows, and plenty of natural light, which is impressive considering its dense, urban neighborhood setting.

The paint colors for the exterior facade include Benjamin Moore Simply White OC-117 for the siding and trim and Benjamin Moore Azores AF-495 on the door.
