Architectural studio Clayton Korte is responsible for the renovation and addition of the Ridgecrest Residence, a beautiful midcentury modern house perched on a hilltop in the West Lake Hills with a peek of downtown Austin, Texas.

The new floor plan layout is double the size of the original, providing a spacious 5,574 square feet of living space.

The home was designed to take advantage of the valley views and encourage seamless indoor and outdoor living experiences while using materials respectful of the place and details of the original 1970s home.
