Peterssen Keller Architecture, together with Nada Bibi Interior Design, has created this spectacular modern cabin with sweeping views over Pelican Lake, a lake located in northwestern Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Flanked by traditional cabins, this striking lake house brings architectural diversity to this lakeshore community. The structure features a standing seam metal and flat top roof with a rock ballast.
Throughout the year, the floor-to-ceiling windows capture the light and continually changing colors of the water. Come winter, when the lake is covered with ice and snow, the dark siding creates a dramatic punctuation mark in the pristine white landscape.

The painted black cedar lap siding highlights the clean straight lines of the structure and integrates seamlessly with the walls of glass.
