Peter Block Architects in collaboration with Westbrook Interiors have designed this stunning lake house retreat that blends rustic stone and modern elements, nested on Lake Keowee, South Carolina. This dwelling was created for a pair of empty nesters to host gatherings, big and small.
Designed to evoke the grand camp clubhouses that graced the White Mountains for generations, this home evokes a sense of timelessness. Spanning two-and-a-half stores, this English Arts and Crafts style stone house is nestled into a hillside. Its lower-level bar boasts expansive arched windows that overlook the swimming pool patio.
