A beautiful blend of clean, contemporary lines and rugged, natural materials come together to create this refined mountain home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Designed by JLF Architects in collaboration with Big-D Signature, this unique cabin-like retreat is nestled beneath the grandeur of the Grand Tetons. The property includes the main house, a cozy den connected by an enclosed glass walkway, guest quarters, and a custom water feature.
The material palette of this home is inspired by the surrounding mountain landscape, featuring reclaimed wood and stone veneer. Created to be different from your traditional mountain cabin, this dwelling features a more open layout with tall, vaulted ceilings and expansive glazing that enables natural light to flood into the living spaces while offering jaw-dropping views throughout.

Above: Reclaimed materials were used throughout this home to create a sense of place. An open floor plan and large windows allow abundant natural light to flood the interiors.
Above: The kitchen features shaker-inspired reclaimed fir cabinets and a backsplash of glazed fireclay tile, creating a sense of tranquility. The countertops are Pietra del Cardoso โ deep-blue grey stone slab.
Above: A separate entryway leads into the husband’s retreat, connected to the main house via a glass-enclosed walkway that frames spectacular views of the Teton Mountains.
Above: This man cave/den was designed with a more masculine feel. This space features an elaborate bar, cigar-smoking accouterments, and a grandiose lounge area complete with its own stone-clad fireplace.
Above: Instead of building separation from the environment, the project team has centered its architectural design on connecting the landscape from the outside in. Large windows and water features blur indoor/outdoor lines. Water features further magnify the surrounding wildland, sky, and mountains.
Above: Verdone Landscape Architects created this custom water feature that provides a peaceful backdrop with trickling runoffs cascading into a manmade pond. The home and its surroundings are awe-inspiring throughout the year with abundant greenery and wildflowers during the summer, and frosty, snow-capped views throughout the winter months.
