Denise Morrison Interiors together with New West Builders has completely reimagined this gorgeous Mediterranean-style house, located in the gated community of Shady Canyon, Newport Beach, California. The project brief called for a full-scale renovation, where the team updated this home to suit a multigenerational family’s lifestyle needs.

The team built on this home’s gorgeous Spanish architecture by filling it with thoughtfully curated light fixtures, furnishings, and accessories. This home had great architectural bones, yet was stuck a little in the 80s. The project team re-thought the layout of a few spaces and gave it a complete refresh including cabinetry, lighting, surfaces, plumbing and furnishings to create a beautiful new home for a multi-generational family.

What We Love: This Mediterranean-style house has gone through a complete overhaul and the finished look is elegant, modern, and timeless. We are especially loving the kitchen with its attractive island detail, stylish pendant lights, unique counter stools, and warm color scheme. Overall, the project team did a fantastic job of giving this home a refresh with beautiful details throughout, from light fixtures to furnishings.
