Miller-Roodell Architects in collaboration with Abby Hetherington Interiors has created this getaway cabin nestled in a secluded canyon and stitched into the edge of an evergreen meadow along the banks of Rock Creek, in Granite County, Montana. Called “Rock Creek Ranch”, this shelter is used as a family fishing cabin and provides an idyllic getaway to end a day on the river.
Encompassing 2,950 square feet of living space, this cabin is truly a reflection of the owners. It is all about coming home to beautifully refined spaces at the end of a perfect day of fishing and enjoying the outdoors. A large fireplace, a library tucked in above the great room, and a generous expanse of glazing to frame the surrounding landscape views are just a few of the unexpected delights in a home designed to get you out the door, and then help you relax and unwind at the end of the day.
What We Love: This spectacular cabin getaway offers its inhabitants a warm and inviting place to call home when on fishing trips. The beauty of nature surrounds this home, beckoning one to spend time in the great outdoors. We are especially loving the beautiful living room with its floor-to-ceiling stone-clad fireplace and a library ladder leading up to a collection of books to enjoy during periods of relaxation… when not fishing!
