This contemporary residence was designed by Steve Wisenbaker Architects in collaboration with BK Interior Design, located in Kentfield, Marin County, California. The minimalist design approach of this residence maximizes the views of Mount Tamalpais — the real show stopper of this fabulous pad. The goal for this project was to create a design to truly maximize California indoor/ outdoor living. The overall neutral palette is punctuated with pops of color for some added fun.
Above: Although the cedar front door is massive, its design makes it look light, and it fits seamlessly with the house.

What We Love: This contemporary residence features warm and inviting living spaces that are perfect for entertaining. Large panels of glass opens to reveal spectacular views of the stunning Mount Tamalpais. The indoor-outdoor connection between the living room and outdoor deck and swimming pool is very ideal. We are loving how this same seamless connection can be found in the kitchen and master bedroom… Readers, please share with us your thoughts on the design of this home in the Comments below. We love reading your feedback!
