Spectacular coastal contemporary home overlooking Laguna Beach

This coastal contemporary home was designed by Studio 6 Architects, located in Laguna Beach, a small coastal city in Orange County, California. The design of this spectacular home was inspired by the views, taking advantage of a long, narrow lot. A front entry gate provides privacy from the street, custom-built on the site, it is composed of mahogany. On the exterior facade, the exquisite stone is a Lompoc Stone Ledge (ledgestone), a natural stone with a slightly irregular rectangular shape.

What We Love: This coastal contemporary home features a beautiful entry courtyard with concrete pavers and moss. The zen-like landscaping invites you into this captivating home that seems to showcase breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean at every turn. Custom designed furnishings, light fixtures, fireplaces, cabinetry and millwork makes this residence very unique. We are especially loving the lower entertainment level, opening out onto an expansive deck, it is the perfect space for weekend fun!

An expansive deck showcases breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean. The exquisite stone on the wall was sourced from Laguna Niguel-based Lompoc Stone. It is a Ledge rock mortarless mountain blend.

Behind the stone wall is a steel cage with steel Cantilever treads, the treads are wrapped with wood to achieve the look of this staircase. In case you were wondering, the handrail was installed after this image was taken.
