Views out to the bay creates a haven of tranquility for all that reside or visit this seaside abode. The interior design scheme features a serene palette of colors that picks of hues from its surrounding environment. There is an aesthetic balance of elegance and functionality that melds perfectly in this family home. This balanced approach helps to create comfortable and cohesive interior spaces. Notice the mix of old and new throughout the interiors, such as the salvaged window set on the fireplace mantel.
A roaring fire on a cool day makes this room ultra cozy. We love the comfortable sofa and plush pillows, the textural area rug that adds warmth underfoot. All of the decorative details that adds character, the window treatments that helps to soften the space. So much to admireย in one room!
What We Love: The cozy porch with its inviting views is our favorite area of this Grand Traverse Bay home, so relaxing. The serene color scheme with its beachy hues really helps to soften this cabin-like space, making it feel bright and airy. We could imagine spending all day here enjoying a fire and unwinding while on a vacation. The rest of the home offers some fantastic architectural elements throughout. With beautiful built-ins to showcase the homeowners personal items and cozy decorative elements that creates a warm, homey feel. Speaking of warmth, we also love all of the wood paneling used on the walls and ceilings.
