Jigsaw Ranch was designed as a family mountain retreat by Charles Cunniffe Architects, showcasing an eclectic architectural style, nestled on the hillside of Aspen Mountain, in Colorado. The residence is situated amongst 90 acres of Aspen trees, lush greenery, soothing waterfalls and mesmerizing views towards Castle Creek. Over 15 years went into the design of this magnificent home, a collaborative effort between the architects and the homeowners.

The home is owned by a Father and Son, whose vision was to have a dream retreat for their family in Aspen. The inspiration for this project was the idea of an eclectic perched village. The architects were involved in both the architectural and interior design of the project. This resulted in a seamless consistency throughout the residence.

Interesting Fact: The Jigsaw Ranch, comprised of two separate parcels in the Castle Creek Valley, sold for $41 million back in 2013. It was one of the most expensive real estate deals in Pitkin County’s history. “It was split into two parcels, the main residence, a stunning mountain contemporary 44 acre view estate, sold for $27,000,000. The creekfront residence on 23 acres sold for $14,000,000. This estate had not changed hands in 37 years.” —As reported from Luxury Real Estate.
