Ben Trogdon Architects was commissioned for the design of this modern farmhouse in Medina, Washington, whileย H2 Design + Build was responsible for the interior design and construction. The inspiration for the farmhouse style came from a local project designed byย Burr & McCallum Architects. This particular home featured more of a simplistic aesthetic that fit perfectly within its environmental context. All storage throughout the interiors, either than the kitchen,ย is either vintage or selected with a vintage feel, providing theย home a sense of history. Whimsical and quirky decorative items decorate the interiors, showcasing the homeowners unique personality.

i love the simplicity of the exterior design. Interested to hear how you chose the outdoor color scheme of grey metal roof with black windows. I see the black metal roofs but mostly with white windows…is it too much to do black metal roof and black windows. Also interested to hear your comments about the indoor color of the windows being black vs white from your experience.
