Over the Edge House is a custom deigned ski in ski out contemporary mountain home by Kelly and Stone Architects, located at the Steamboat Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The exterior facade is comprised of material elements of metal tiles, mahogany siding, sanstone slabs, and a dry stacked stone veneer. The mammoth home is as grand in appearance on the outside as it is in the inside, offering plenty of spaces for living and entertaining. This home delivers everything could possibly want in a mountain property, complete with a home theater room and plenty of outdoor living spaces to enjoy during the warm summer months.

The entryway to this mountain residence is very impressive, showcasing curved glulam beams over a custom walnut entry door. You can see right through to the beautiful dining room below, awaiting guests for a grand dinner party!
The grand entryway of this fabulous mountain home looks out through a dense forested hillside and down to the city of Steamboat Springs. A staircase brings you down to the lower, main living level, which features an open and spacious dining room, kitchen and living room.
This living rooms main focal point is its stunning fireplace featuring slabs of colorado buff sandstone. Floor-to-ceiling windows draws natural light in, while glass patio doors leads out to a terrace, hovering over the forest. Walnut flooring and ceiling panels adds warmth, luxury and sophistication.
This unique spiral staircase connects all levels of the home, comprised of a serpentine steel stringer, steel plate brackets and three inch thick walnut treads.
Skiers ski right by the rear of the property, which is called ‘Burgess Creek Ski Way’.
