A chic wine country residence boasts amazing entertaining spaces

Wine Country Residence-Wade Design Architects-01-1-Kindesign

This stunning wine country residence was recently renovated by Wade Design Architects in collaboration with Jennifer Robin Interiors, located in Santa Rosa, California. The design team were challenged with the task of creating open and spacious interiors catered to entertaining, creating memories and cultivating warmth. The homeowners have travelled the world together and were looking to infuse some of their cultural aesthetics into their home.

They had collected magazines along the way and used them to inspire the design scheme. Existing furnishings were refinished with durable fabrics, while antiques and custom pieces were injected into the mix, complimenting the architecture and creating a welcoming ambiance. Most of the existing structure was knocked down and re-configured to revolve around continuous visiting guests.

The great room was designed with a stunning stone clad floor-to-ceiling fireplace as the focal point of the space, with seating configured around it. A remote controlled mirror conceals a flat screen television, that is revealed with the push of a button. The space was created to accommodate up to 24 family and friends to enjoy the beautifully designed interior arrangement. The soaring ceilings are also a magnificent feature to mention, with custom structural steel trusses to support a cathedral wood ceiling.

What We Love: The bright and airy open spaces for starters… but the showstopper of this home is the great room, with its soaring ceilings, comfortable and inviting furnishings and that beautiful stone fireplace. We bet this would be a fun place to be when a dinner party is in the making. Readers, what do you think, is this your style of home? Let us know in the Comments below, we love reading your feedback!

Are you able to share any information on the colors used for the ceiling and trusses as well as the style of lights (spotlights) used in that setting? Stunning!
