London-based studio Louise Jones Interiors is responsible for the design of this fabulous snow-topped ski chalet in the mountains of beautiful Courchevel, Switzerland. This sumptuous two-story home with wood and stone-clad exterior features plenty of windows to bring natural light into the spaces while allowing its inhabitant’s spectacular views out towards the surrounding rugged landscape.
Inside, a gorgeous living room is characterized by soaring ceilings with wood beams, wood-clad walls, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a beautiful full height bookshelf wall with a rolling library ladder. A color palette comprised of rich, warm hues and comfortable furnishings creates an inviting and cozy atmosphere. Sliding glass doors expands this space to the outdoors, blurring the boundaries between indoors and out.
During the warmer months, the extra balcony space is perfect for enjoying the welcoming views and entertaining guests. Other spaces found in this incredible chalet include a chef’s kitchen, family room, a master bedroom retreat, guest bedrooms, a luxurious indoor pool, home theater, and spa. This home has everything you could possibly imagine wanting and more. A retreat that you would never want to leave!
