Charming Parallel is a self catering apartment that was completely transformed by Sinergia Soluciones Constructivas, located in Poble Sec, a trendy area of Barcelona, Spain. The project focused on changing the distribution of the floor plan to make it more functional and bright and renovate the facilities to be more comfortable. The goal was to create an inviting apartment attractive for any tourist visiting Barcelona. The design team carefully preserved some of the original features of the home, which includes vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls. The apartment consists of an open plan living area, dining and kitchen and two bedrooms, each with its own balcony. These common and private zones are delineated by a wall that connects and separates the spaces with sliding doors. Through a large skylight, the living room gains luminosity. The finishes and decoration creates harmony throughout.

The combination of the original brick and white walls gives maximum value to decorative coatings and achieves a visual continuity between the bedrooms and the common area, while creating a greater feeling of spaciousness. Its textures and stark contrast creates an excellent backdrop for a decoration that combines eco, rustic and shabby chic.
